All retreat events are optional. You can participate in any or all events. We will have goody bags for everyone.
Lake Yale has walking trails. A lot of great photo opportunities. The sunrise over the Lake is beautiful. There are some interesting birds and other wild life. We had the Heron one year come up to the door and peek in to see what we were doing. The Alligators can be see in the lake occasionally and the Florida armadillos drop in sometimes. VW Bug Contest
Create a polymer clay VW bug either as a jewelry or knickknack item. No bigger than 4 inches by 4 inches. The wheels can be fixed or functional. It can be a pendant, earrings, pencil eraser, pen, paperweight etc. It must be in the Feelin’ Groovy theme.
Brown Bag Swap
Bring a handmade item in a brown bag. It does not need to be a polymer clay item. No perishable food items in brown bags. Please be considerate when selecting your brown bag item. Include your name in the bag and if there is a story that goes with the item include that too. Brown bag items can be a range of different items. It only needs to be handmade.
Bottles of Hope Contest
This year’s theme is Feelin’ Groovy. The three Categories are Best Child, Best depiction of the theme and Best Expression of Hope using the theme. The entry must use a medicine bottle. Medicine bottles are usually saline bottles. If you are in the Orlando area email me. The purpose behind Bottles of Hope is to give people with cancer hope. Create bottles that will inspire. Bottles that you would like to receive.
Bead Trading
We will trade beads. Bring 20 beads and a bowl to put the beads in. Everyone can be creative with their beads. I was thinking about making some tie dye beads to go with my tie dye shirts. The shirts turned out pretty good. Funny I waited until I am 65 to make some tie dye shirts. It was fun. I believe we will have ball chains available for sale. I was thinking about hooking my years of beads together with the ball chains so I could have a really long hippie bead chain to go with tie dye shirts. 
Cane/Item Swapping
Bring 5 items to swap. They can be mixed media, polymer clay items or 2 inch canes. Rhonda is busily working out the details. I will post updates as soon as I get them.
Auction
We usually have an auction on Saturday. We welcome donations for the auction. It is fun to see the items our talented community creates. We may have both Silent and Live Auction or either depending upon what we have available.
Demo Board
There will be a list of demos posted on the board. We will take requests for any technique that someone would like to see demonstrated.
Left Right Center Game
You will need to make 3 polymer chips. They can be poker chips, round chips with pictures or initials, fun items etc. You just need 3 to play. I usually make around a dozen so I can play several games.
